Congratulations YMF for winning the 2008 Younger Member Group Website Award! The East Central Branch, Florida Section has been selected to receive the 2008 Younger Member Group Website Award, Large Group! ECB YMF will receive the award at the 2008 ASCE Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, PA from November 6-8, 2008. ECB YMF will also be recognized at the Younger Member Leadership Symposium (YMLS) at the Annual Conference. Finally, our award will be announced in future issues of ASCE News and the Younger Member Newsletter.

Congratulations YMF for winning the 2006 ASCE National Public Service and Zone II Award.
YMF was recently notified to let us know we won the 2006 Zone II ASCE Public Service Award- for the second year in a row as well as the National Award. YMF officers submitted an entry that was judged alongside other branches and groups within ASCE. We were recognized as being last year's top group in the nation committed to community service. This award comes from all the activities we participate and organize which is possible due to the time and work of dedicated members. Thank you to all the members of YMF and to our companies for supporting us.

YMF was recently notified to let us know we won the 2005 Zone II ASCE Public Service Award. Thank you to all the members of YMF and to our companies for supporting us. It is because of the active participation that we had in activities last year that included our annual food and toy drives, Engineer for a Day and Adopt-a-Highway that helped us to win this award.

Loreen Choate, 2005 Young Engineer of the Year for ASCE Florida Section and Member-At-Large
Congratulations to Loreen for winning the 2005 Young Engineer of the Year Award. Loreen also recently received the honor of being the Member-At-Large for the National ASCE Committee on Younger Members.

Michelle Everett, 2005 Zone II Recipient of the Daniel W. Mead Award for Younger Members
Michelle wrote a paper on the topic, "Is it ethical to use an engineering software program to solve a problem if you cannot complete the calculations manually?" and submitted it for judging. Michelle was the winner for Zone II and received her award during the National Conference in Los Angeles.
