Annual Service Event
Postponed until further notice.
Please join us in our annual service project at Great Oaks Village. Great Oaks Village is a residential foster care group home for children 6 to 18+ who have been removed from their homes by the State of Florida due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. We will be painting the outdoor basketball court. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes. Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament
Friday, May 4th
ASCE is hosting their annual scholarship golf tournament on May 4th at the Stoneybrook West Golf Club. There will be contests for the closest to the pin and longest drive, and the format will be a 4 person scramble. All proceeds from the event are used to support scholarships for engineering students at University of Central Florida, and Orlando Campus of Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. The golf event is followed by a dinner and awards.
Sportstown Social

Canoeing
Saturday, June 9th
Want a refreshing way to cool off this June? Come to Kings Landing (5722 Baptist Camp Road Apopka, Florida 32712) on Saturday June 9th to splash around and explore the Wekiva River. ASCE-YMF will be renting canoe’s and providing lunch! The fun will start at 10am. Please RSVP to Cara at CPirkey@HNTB.com by June 1st.
Lake Restoration Project
Saturday, June 23rd
Volunteer with YMF as we join Seminole County lake Management Program biologists for a day on the lake! Help restore the ecosystem function and water quality of Lake Howell by removing harmful invasive vegetation and replanting with beneficial native plants. Please wear gloves, hat, sunscreen, old clothes and closed toed shoes. Plan to get muddy and wet! Please RSVP to Megan Nelson at nelsonm@cdmsmith.com by June 20 to participate. Meet up location will be announced via email to those who RSVP.
